Land adjacent to the A614, Worksop - Solar Project
One Planet Developments Limited has lodged a planning appeal regarding the above site following the non-determination of full planning permission by Bassetlaw District Council, as no decision was issued by the determination date of 11 April 2025 for:
"Installation and Operation of a Solar Farm and Battery Energy Storage System (Output up to 40 MW), with Associated Works, Equipment, Infrastructure and Landscaping.” (Application reference: 24/00384/FUL).

We are now conducting a period of consultation to allow interested parties the opportunity to make comments on a revised layout plan and planting plan with some proposed changes to the landscaping in respect of the appeal scheme.
Amendments have been made to the site layout plan in respect of proposed planting along the southern and western boundaries. The changes comprise: additional screening planting to the south and west; amendments to the tree planting to the southern boundary of the panels; and removal of proposed trees from below the overhead lines on the far southern boundary of the site.

This consultation is not run on behalf of Bassetlaw District Council. The purpose of the consultation is to consult on the amended proposals only.

All comments received will be shared with both the Planning Inspectorate and the Council prior to the opening of the appeal Inquiry. Consultation responses will then be considered by the appointed Inspector alongside responses that have already been received on this appeal.
