Development Management

One of the key strengths of One Planet is its professional team with over 40 years of complementary renewable energy experience.

Many landowners and investors have the capital and appetite to take a project forward on their own initiative but lack the time and sector-specific knowledge to undertake a project themselves.

One Planet is happy to work with such partners on a collaborative and mutually beneficial basis, acting as your outsourced development team bringing planning, development, legal and construction knowledge together.

The two most common entry points are:

  • development of a green field site from inception through to the point of planning consent being granted; and

  • acquisition of development rights (Project Rights) from a third party once planning consent has been granted through to completion of construction and the entering into of a power purchase agreement.

One Planet charges a fee for these services, but where possible makes it principally contingent on success after milestones have been reached in order to ensure that our interests are aligned with those of our client.

Tree pipits are getting harder to find in England. A 1967-70 survey estimated a breeding population of around 600 pairs across East and West Sussex. That fell to 90 pairs by 2010. It reflects a steep decline across England, although they are on the rise in Scotland.
